Seat One follows the cEDH European Tournament Rules. TopDeck.gg is used for registration, pairings, standings and decklists.
- Every player needs a free TopDeck.gg account.
- Decklists must be submitted through the event page before check-in closes.
- Seating order is determined in advance by the tournament software.
- Judge instructions and announced event procedures take precedence on the day.

One point for each of the four starting players, including anyone already eliminated.

PROXY POLICY
PLAY THE DECK.
NOT THE PRICE TAG.
There is no proxy limit. Your deck must remain consistent in thickness and handling, while every proxy must be readable across the table and clearly identifiable as a proxy outside the sleeve.
ALLOWED
BRING A PLAYABLE PROXY.
- Colour paper print in front of a real card. Double-sleeve the deck so the insert cannot move.
- Professionally printed playtest cards with comparable dimensions and thickness.
- Gold-bordered cards.
- Official artwork available on Scryfall.
- Retro, extended-art and modern-border adaptations.
NOT ALLOWED
KEEP IT CLEAR AND HONEST.
- Hand-written or hand-drawn substitutes.
- Writing on a real card to represent a different card.
- Unreadable treatments or frames that obscure what the card is.
- Showcase or Invention-style frames for cards never printed that way.
- Counterfeit cards. A proxy must never be presented as a genuine Magic card.
ALTER POLICY
PERSONAL.
STILL READABLE.
Partial alters are welcome when the original card remains recognizable. Full-art alters may be played when you also carry a normal copy or clear proxy.
An opponent may ask you to use that normal version when the card becomes relevant. When in doubt, bring both and ask before round one.
JUDGE TEAM
CALL EARLY.
PLAY CONFIDENTLY.
Timber is the Head Judge. Additional judges will be added when attendance requires it.
Judge calls protect the game and the players. If something is unclear, pause the game and call immediately.
